To connect the Ethernet cable:

1. Insert one end of the cable into the Ethernet port until you hear it snap into place.

2. Connect the other end of the cable to the server where you plan to install the Library Monitor

software.

Monitoring the Ethernet LEDs

The Ethernet light-emitting diodes (LEDs) indicate the operating status of the Ethernet connection. The two

LEDs are located above the Ethernet port, as shown below.

The Link LED turns on when a link to the network has been established. The Activity LED blinks when data

transmission or reception is taking place.
